BREAKING NEWS: Prime Minister Returns to Cambodia After Attending The 2022 World Peace Summit in Korea

PHNOM PENH: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen returned to Phnom Penh on the evening of February 13, 2022, after co-chairing the World Peace Summit and receiving the 2022 Sunhak Peace Prize in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

The plane carrying Prime Minister Hun Sen landed at Phnom Penh International Airport at around 8:15 pm this evening.

Prime Minister Hun Sen left Cambodia for the World Peace Summit in Seoul, Republic of Korea, on February 10. In addition to co-chairing the World Peace Summit and receiving the Sunhak Peace Prize, he also met with Korean President Moon Jae-in, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea Park Byeong-Seung, and other top leaders.

The visit was considered by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a success for the nation as not only did it help to enhance the national image but also strengthened the Cambodian-Korean relations.
